Alcohol Friend Group Study
The study we’re conducting right now looks at the effects of alcohol on cognitive and emotional processes in social drinkers and heavy social drinkers.
Study Requirements:

21-30 years old

Able and willing to consume alcohol (ID required)

2-5 same-gender friend referrals
-
20-minute phone screen to determine your eligibility

Chicago
Couples Intervention Study
This study is looking at a version of Alcohol Behavioral Couples Therapy (ABCT) that uses transdermal biosensors and mobile assessments.
Study Requirements:

21 years of age or older (ID required)
-
Attend 12 weeks of therapy with your partner (either in-person or via telehealth)

Wear transdermal bracelets and complete mobile surveys
RESEARCH
Alcohol Biosensor Study
The study we’re conducting right now is the first big study to look at the relationship between these transdermal sensor readings and breathalyzer data, with the aim of accurately monitoring alcohol consumption.
Study Requirements:

21 years of age or older (ID required)

Able and willing to consume alcohol

Attend all 3 laboratory sessions
-
Maintain compliance for 14 days with participation in daily breathalyzers and continual wear of the transdermal bracelets during everyday activities

Brief Alcohol Biosensor Pilot Study
The study seeks to pilot test mobile health technology that will eventually be integrated into a substance use intervention.
Study Requirements:

Self-select participation duration of up to 5 days

Wear a transdermal bracelet, blow into breathalyzer, and answer mobile surveys
